We had 13 shots to Arsenal’s seven, with four of ours on target and a further three blocked. Aside from their goal, the Gunners only had one other attempt on target.

On his senior debut, Tariq Lamptey did not misplace a single pass after coming on.

When it came to key passes, Willian shone with seven, including the assist for Abraham’s winner. The next best player in that department was Mesut Ozil with two.

Despite being on the pitch for an hour, Jorginho’s 48 completed passes was the third-highest figure, behind Kurt Zouma (78) and Toni Rudiger (69).

The game’s top dribbler was Mateo Kovacic with five successful take-ons (100 per cent completion rate), followed by Willian who made three, the same number as Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira.

Abraham won a game-high six aerial duels.

By the end of the game we had shaded the tackle count by 17 to 16, N’Golo Kante leading the way with seven successful challenges. The only other Chelsea player to win more than one was Lamptey, who came out on top in both of the tackles he contested.

For the first time in the Premier League, we beat Arsenal having trailed at half-time. We had lost 12 and drawn three on the previous 15 occasions it had happened. It was also the first time we have avoided defeat having trailed in a league game this season.

The eventual victory condemned Arsenal to a fourth straight loss at home in all competitions, the first time they have endured such a losing streak since 1959.
