What’s your earliest memory of playing football?

I remember playing Sunday league when I was eight years old and getting my first pair of boots. I was at Bedfont Green at the time - it’s a place near Hanworth, west London. My first boots were a pair of NikeiD boots which I customised.

Have you previously played in any other positions?

When I was younger I started playing as a winger – I was quite quick. Naturally as I got older I got taller and played centre-back when I was an Under-12. After that I moved up to midfield and it’s where I’ve been since, central attacking.

Who did you look up to when you were younger?

When I was younger and still to this day, I look up to Cristiano Ronaldo. He’s an all-round great player, great person with determination and all that he does for the sport is great.

Did you play any other sports in your teenage years?

I was quite good at athletics in school. In year seven, they wanted me to be on the athletics team but I couldn’t commit to it because of Chelsea. I used to run the 100 meter sprint – I was quite quick – the last time I can remember recording was in year 10, I ran 12 seconds. I’m into other sports now though, Boxing and Badminton.

What’s your earliest memory of watching football?

I remember my first time going to Wembley actually, I was nine-years-old and I went to watch England v The Rest of the World with my brother and my dad. It was a great experience and somewhere I aspire to be – the England team back then was a very good side.

Which one footballing memory sticks in your mind?

In our Under-15 season we won three trophies, it was a very successful year as a team but also individually I scored two goals in the final - and recently signing my professional contract is was a good thing for me and my family.

- Meanwhile, Under-18 forward Armando Broja has penned a new deal at the Blues to keep him at the club until the summer of 2022. Broja currently has 10 goals to his name in the Southern section of the Under-18 Premier League campaign with sixteen goals in all competitions including a hat-trick in the third round of the FA Youth Cup last December.
