Chelsea play Arsenal for the 200th occasion in all competitions, more than we’ve played against any other club.

Didier Drogba is our leading scorer against the Gunners with 13, followed by Bobby Tambling’s 10, and Eden Hazard and George Mills with seven.

Arsenal have only won two of their last 16 Premier League meetings with Chelsea (five draws, nine defeats), both at the Emirates – 3-0 in September 2016 and 2-0 in January 2019.

Arsenal are winless in their last seven Premier League away games against Chelsea (one draw, six defeats) since winning 5-3 in October 2011.

In the reverse fixture last month at the Emirates, the Blues won 2-1 with two goals in the last seven minutes from Jorginho and Tammy Abraham after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring on 12 minutes.

We are looking to complete the league double over the Gunners for the first time since 2015/16, and for the fifth time in the Premier League era. Only Liverpool (five) and Man Utd (five) have done this against the Gunners on as many as five occasions.

Milestones

Cesar Azpilicueta’s next start will be his 250th in the Premier League. He will be only the seventh Chelsea player to reach that milestone for the club.

If selected, Kurt Zouma will make his 50th Premier League start for the club.

At Newcastle, N’Golo Kante’s started his 150th match for the club in all competitions and Callum Hudson-Odoi made his 50th Chelsea appearance in all competitions.

The Gunners are winless in 24 Premier League away games against ‘big six’ teams (nine draws, 15 defeats), since a 2-0 win at Man City in January 2015.

Suspended Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored almost half of Arsenal’s Premier League goals this season, and nine of their 12 away from home.
