Sancho summer move on the cards?

According to the Sun, Jadon Sancho could be set for a move to Chelsea this summer with his current club, Borussia Dortmund, already lining up replacements for the England winger.

The paper reported last month that the Blues were planning a move for the 19-year-old during the current transfer window but now suggest he will not be leaving the German club before the end of the season.

‘Reports in Germany claim Dortmund are seemingly resigned to losing the former Manchester City academy ace and have begun targeting replacements,’ states the Sun’s report.

‘SportBILD claim the Bundesliga outfit have identified Brazilian starlets Everton and Antony to partner new striker Erling Haaland in leading the line for Lucien Favre's side.

‘Both Everton and Antony will be under pressure to fill the void left by Sancho, who has already grabbed 10 goals and as many assists in 16 league games this season.

‘Sancho still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal in Germany meaning any deal to sign him will likely exceed the £100m barrier.’

Blues make offer for Cavani

The Times reports Chelsea have made an offer to sign Edinson Cavani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season.

According to the report, the proposed deal would see the Blues pay a loan fee to Paris Saint Germain and cover the Uruguayan forward’s wages until his contract expires at the end of June.

However, it goes on to suggest that PSG would prefer to sell rather than loan out the 32-year-old.

‘PSG have indicated that they want to sell Cavani for as much as £23 million after he handed in a request to leave this week,’ states the paper.

‘Cavani had wanted an 18-month contract during talks with Atletico Madrid, who had a £8.5 million bid rejected by PSG.’

Isco looking for a London home?

The Daily Star suggests Isco has held talks with Chelsea with the club looking to arrange to find a home for the Real Madrid midfielder in London.

Citing a report by Spanish media outlet El Desmarque, the Star indicates there has been a ‘secret transfer meeting’ to work out a summer move for the Spain international.

‘The Premier League outfit have reportedly already made arrangements to ease Isco’s transition to life in England by sorting out a house for him,’ adds the report.

‘Isco has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu for a number of months amid a mixed first half to the campaign.

‘The 27-year-old has managed just 10 starts in all competitions since the start of the season prompting speculation he could be on the move sooner rather than later.

‘El Desmarque claim an announcement on Isco’s future will be delayed until after Euro 2020, however, out of respect for Los Blancos.’
