Chelsea have been handed a home tie against either Shrewsbury or Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Blues will host the winner of that replay, after the Shrews came from behind to draw 2-2 with the European Champions to tee up a return fixture at Anfield.
Frank Lampard’s side set up the tie with either Shrewsbury or Liverpool after successfully seeing off Hull City in the fourth round at the weekend, with goals from Michy Batshuayi and Fikayo Tomori securing a 2-1 win at The KCOM Stadium.
The draw in full is:
Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City
Reading or Cardiff v Sheffield United
Chelsea v Shrewsbury or Liverpool
West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle or Oxford
Leicester City v Coventry or Birmingham
Northampton or Derby v Manchester United
Southampton or Tottenham v Norwich City
Portsmouth v Bournemouth or Arsenal
The Round Five ties take place in the middle of the week commencing Monday 2 March, with exact dates yet to be announced and ticket details for our fixture to be confirmed in due course.
The moving of this round to the middle of a week this season is to help make room for the new winter break.
