We take a look at the key statistics from our draw against Leicester at the weekend, with N'Golo Kante a standout performer on his old stomping ground...

Leicester had twice as many shots as us (14 to seven) but only one more on target (four to three). Six of the Foxes’ shots were from outside the box, compared to one of ours.

Harvey Barnes had a game-high four efforts, twice as many as anyone else. Mason Mount was the only Blue besides Toni Rudiger to have two attempts on goal.

We just shaded possession with a 50.3 per cent share of the ball. Cesar Azpilicueta (7.4 per cent) and Toni Rudiger (7.1 per cent) spent the most time on the ball, and Azpilicueta (102) had the most touches.

As a team our pass success rate was 78 per cent, down on our season average of 84.4 per cent. Leicester’s was 77 per cent.

Of those who started the game, Callum Hudson-Odoi was our most accurate passer, finding a team-mate 88 per cent of the time. For Leicester Hamza Choudhury (89 per cent) led the way.

We completed 10 more passes than our opponents (379 to 369). Rudiger made the most successful passes (57).

James Maddison’s five key passes was a game-high figure. Mount made two for us, both assists for Rudiger.

Hudson-Odoi and Azpilicueta registered three successful take-ons each, more than anyone else.

Rudiger won four aerial duels, a joint game-high figure.

Our top tacklers were Azpilicueta and N’Golo Kante, who won three apiece, Kante with a 100 per cent success rate.

Both teams made 18 clearances and nine interceptions each. Kante again excelled for us, recording a Chelsea-high three in each department. Hudson-Odoi also made three clearances.
