In our latest ‘Getting to know Chelsea Women’ feature, Guro Reiten gave us an insight into her life off the pitch…

Among her answers, the attacking player shares her hobby, what TV series she’s watching and who she sits next to on the coach to away matches…

How did you get into football?

I have always played – I come from a small place and everyone plays football. That was kind of the only thing I did with my friends.

Ada Hegerberg is from my town, we went to the same school. We only have around 5,000 people in my town.

Who do you sit with on an away trip and what do you get up to?

Magda, Jonna and Deanna and we normally play Partners – it’s a board game.

Who was your favourite footballer growing up and why?

Steven Gerrard because he was a great footballer, he’s a leader and was the captain of my favourite team.

Do you have any siblings?

Yes I have a brother, he’s two years younger than me, so 23.

Porridge every single morning. Berries, cinnamon and nuts.

What is your favourite food?

Coffee of course. Black, strong coffee and I drink a lot of it.

Are you watching any TV series at the moment?

Yes, I love Grey’s Anatomy and because all the girls are talking about Love Island I had to start watching that. I really like it!

Do you have any hobbies?

I paint, but I haven’t done that since moving to Chelsea. I have to start again, I love painting!
