The Blues were back to work at Cobham today, as Frank Lampard and his squad stepped things up ahead of next week’s return to action against Manchester United.
With the first Premier League winter break taking place, the Chelsea players were given a little bit of time off to recharge following a busy period of fixtures. A number of players headed for some warmer climates, as we showcased earlier this week.
But it was back to a blustery Cobham today, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek again involved in the session following his recent recovery from injury.
Antonio Rudiger was also involved, following his two goals against Leicester last time out, while N’Golo Kante was wrapped up warm and featured. We welcome United to Stamford Bridge on the evening of Monday, 17 February.
