In the UKHaving been rested for Birmingham’s midweek FA Cup replay win over Coventry, there was a notable success for Jake Clarke-Salter on Friday night. Birmingham won 3-1 away in the Championship at Bristol City who had taken maximum points in their previous four games and scored after 40 seconds of this one. This weekend Izzy Brown was back in the Luton starting line-up for the first time since November having been out due to injury, and was prominent in the Hatters’ attacking play until he was substituted with 64 minutes played and the score 0-0. Cardiff ran out 1-0 winners. Luton remain bottom of the Championship.
