Getafe are a third in the table, seven points behind Barcelona and 10 below Real Madrid.

There was a big game in Italy this Sunday and Victor Moses was introduced for the last 10 minutes of the Milan derby. He supplied the cross to the far post for former Blue Romelu Lukaku to head in Inter’s fourth goal in a big 4-2 win, which following Juventus’s 2-1 defeat at Verona the day before puts Inter top with the two sides level on points.

Mario Pasalic played 64 minutes of Atalanta’s away win at Fiorentina. His replacement, Ruslan Malinovskiy, scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory which keeps Atalanta fourth.

Striker Charlie Brown made his senior debut at the weekend following his first loan, coming on an hour into Royal Union Saint-Gilloise’s game at Excelsior Virton in the Belgian second division. It ended 0-0.

Midfielder George McEachran also made his senior debut for Dutch second division leaders Cambuur in their 2-1 home win over MVV. Having moved there in the January transfer window, he came on with 78 minutes played.

Last Monday Juan Castillo played in a big 5-1 home win for Ajax’s Under-21s against Go Ahead Eagles. His loan side are second in the Dutch second tier.In the same division, Ike Ugbo scored Roda’s goal in a home match against Den Bosch in the Dutch second division but his side were 3-0 down by that stage and lost 5-1.

In the UKHaving been rested for Birmingham’s midweek FA Cup replay win over Coventry, there was a notable success for Jake Clarke-Salter on Friday night. Birmingham won 3-1 away in the Championship at Bristol City who had taken maximum points in their previous four games and scored after 40 seconds of this one. However they were behind by half-time and Birmingham’s win moves them up to 14th and extends their unbeaten run to eight games. Clarke-Salter spoke to this website last week.

This weekend Izzy Brown was back in the Luton starting line-up for the first time since November having been out due to injury, and was prominent in the Hatters’ attacking play until he was substituted with 64 minutes played and the score 0-0. Cardiff ran out 1-0 winners. Luton remain bottom of the Championship.

Richard Nartey was a late sub in Burton’s 0-0 draw against Gillingham in England’s League One.
