Our Under-18s moved into the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup after victory at Stamford Bridge over Millwall on Thursday night.

Broja was the only player to find the net under the lights. His first-half overhead effort was ruled out but he made sure to give the Millwall players no room for protests with his second as he fired the Blues to an important win.

After notching his 20th goal of the season, the forward reflected on the game, playing at the Stamford Bridge and his goals, before looking forward to the upcoming semi-final, which we will host against either Manchester United or Wigan.

On the game…

‘It was an amazing win,' he said. 'We knew the game would be tough as it is a new experience for the players at Stamford Bridge, the first time here for some of the boys including myself. It was a really good win and after the game the boys and coaches were buzzing because we’re through to the semi-final now and we'll be back here at the Bridge. Hopefully we can go all the way.’

On playing at Stamford Bridge…

‘As a kid, I’ve always wanted to play at Stamford Bridge and coming to such an amazing place was a great feeling,’ continued Broja. ‘To score in such a place is also a great feeling, for my first time it was incredible. It was a good game, their fans were lively and our fans were amazing. All the Chelsea boys were good today and we really enjoyed the game.’

On the disallowed goal and the winner…

‘Personally I thought the first goal should have stood,' he added. 'I didn’t really see anything wrong with it but I didn’t let it get to me and I got on the scoresheet later on. To score my first goal at such a great stadium is amazing - hopefully there will be many more to come.

On the semi-final against Man United or Wigan...

‘We will prepare as we have for every other game. We will make sure we train well and come into the game with the right mindset to get the win and progress into the final.'
