Willian keeping in shape with his family

Having returned to Brazil to be with his family during these difficult times, Willian appears to be making the most of his time with them, sharing a delightful video on Instagram of a football workout with his daughters.

The Brazilian winger was given permission by Chelsea to go back to his homeland last week and while he awaits news of when football might resume in the midst of the Covid-19, he has been trying to maintain his sharpness, drafting in both of his daughters for a light outdoor training session.

The video shows him shuttling back and forth between the girls, who are stationed at opposite ends of his garden, and working on his touch as he gently volleys mini-balls back towards them.

Wilian clearly seems to be enjoying the exercise as he smiles at the girls in the video and writes in the post’s accompanying text: ‘Training with my girls! 😘❤️🥰 #stayhome #stayhealthy #staysafe’.

Young American linked with Blues

German publication Bild reports Chelsea and Arsenal are monitoring the progress of United States Under-20 international Chris Richards at Bayern Munich.

The 20-year-old currently plays for Bayern’s reserve side but the report indicates the Blues and Gunners are keeping a close eye on the centre-back’s performances in Germany’s third division.

Richards, who was signed from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas last year, has yet to play for for Bayern’s senior team but worked out with them during the club’s January training camp in Qatar.

Spanish sides Barcelona and Valencia are also reportedly interested in the American whose contract with Bayern runs until 2023.

Telles changes agent

The Daily Express reports Chelsea’s chances of signing left-back Alex Telles from Porto have been boosted after the Brazilian appointed a new agent who is well known to the club.

The Brazilian has been at the Portuguese club since 2016 but was reported to have turned down a new contract offer last month.

According to the report, his decision to change agents suggests he could be looking for a move to the Premier League this summer.

‘Telles is now represented by agent Pini Zahavi, after previously having his sister Hellen deal with his affairs,’ states the paper.

‘Zahavi also has close links to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich after having helped the Russian purchase the Blues back in 2003.

‘Telles has been impressive for Porto since arriving from Galatasaray in 2016 for around £7.5m.

‘The 27-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided 52 assists in 183 appearances for Porto.’
