The Blues have stepped up to stage two training in the last few days and we have the first photos of the restricted contact work that Frank Lampard has been overseeing at Cobham.

Guidelines on this next stage were published by the UK Government at the start of last week, and allow for some interaction within the two-metre social distancing boundary in training, with pairs, small groups and/or teams able to come into closer contact with each other.

Coaching and tackling within the two-metre distance is permitted, although current social distancing rules apply at all times, apart from during technical training.

The beautiful weather in England means it has been hard work for the players, but nonetheless a welcome return to something approaching normality, as the photos below show.
