Following our progress to the FA Cup semi-finals, the date and kick-off time for our meeting with Manchester United at Wembley have now been confirmed.

Frank Lampard’s side passed the challenge of a tricky trip to Leicester City at the weekend courtesy of Ross Barkley’s second-half strike, a victory that set up a fourth contest of the season with the Reds of Manchester.

The semi-final will be played on Sunday 19 July, kicking off at 6pm at Wembley Stadium and broadcast live on the BBC.

Our Premier League trip to Liverpool, originally due to be played on the same weekend, will now be rescheduled. A new date and time will be confirmed in due course.

Supporters are reminded that all games for the remainder of the 2019/20 season will be played behind closed doors and fans will unfortunately not be admitted to the stadium.

As well as live coverage on terrestrial television in the UK, there will also be audio and text commentaries on this website and the 5th Stand app, as well as on the club’s social media platforms.

In the other semi-final, Arsenal take on Manchester City on Saturday 18 July, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Blues have reached this stage of the competition after knocking out Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Liverpool and Leicester, while United have beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Derby County and Norwich City.

It is the third FA Cup semi-final appearance in four seasons for Chelsea, the eight-time winners. No other club has a better record over the past 19 years, over which time we have been semi-finalists on 10 occasions.
