Stamford Bridge will host the fixture, which will take place behind closed doors with no supporters present because of the coronavirus pandemic. Fans will not be admitted to the stadiums and for our home games, the whole Stamford Bridge site will be closed to the public. Chelsea vs Watford head to head

The Blues won 2-1 when these two sides met at Vicarage Road earlier this season, in November, with Tammy Abraham opening the scoring early on before Christian Pulisic sealed the three points in the second half. We won by the same score line at Watford last season, and triumphed 3-0 at the Bridge with goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuain.

Injury news for Chelsea vs Watford

Fikayo Tomori is out. He continues to recover from the muscle problem he suffered in training ahead of the restart. Mateo Kovacic misses this game and is likely to absent for the next due to an Achilles injury suffered at West Ham. Callum Hudson-Odoi could also make his first appearance since the restart, having returned to be named among the subsitutes for our last match against West Ham.

Watford will be without Daryl Janmaat, who is struggling with a knee problem. They will also be missing two long-term absentees, Gerard Deulofeu who is yet to return to training following knee surgery, and Isaac Success who ruptured his Achilles tendon last month.
