The video above shows every single one of Pulisic’s touches on the ball since English football resumed last month. That’s 276 touches across our six matches in that time, since we got back underway at Aston Villa and up to Tuesday’s victory over Crystal Palace, with Pulisic playing in every one, coming off the bench at Villa Park and starting every subsequent game, totaling 467 minutes on the pitch, plus injury time.

Of those 276 touches, 16 have been shots, averaging out at 2.7 per game, seven of which have been on target, resulting in three goals. That means he finds the net on average once every two matches and hits the target with 43.8 per cent of his efforts. In other words, on current form, he gets in a shot every 29 minutes and scores every 155 minutes.

We have all seen how effective the American winger has been on the ball, successfully dribbling past the opposition 13 times across those six games, with four the most he has managed in a single match, against both Palace and Manchester City.

The opposition don’t seem to be too pleased about that fact, as Pulisic has been on the receiving end of a foul 10 times during the same period, almost as much as the 12 times he has been tackled.

The last fixture at Selhurst Park was also the high-mark for key passes, making three out of his total of eight since the restart. Overall Pulisic has made 155 passes, averaging 25.8 per game, with a success rate of 76.9 per cent. The vast majority of them have been short passes, the exceptions being five crosses and 11 long balls.

The 21-year-old’s defensive output has been increasing too, with six of his nine successful tackles over the six games being split evenly across the last two fixtures against Watford and Palace, in addition to three clearances.
