Chelsea won on that last visit there, with goals from current boss Frank Lampard and from Michael Ballack. 

Dave Bassett was in charge the last occasion Sheffield Utd beat the Blues at Bramall Lane, in November 1993. Willie Falconer scored the only goal.

Injury news for Sheffield United vs Chelsea

In the build-up to the previous game, at Crystal Palace, Frank Lampard reported that N'Golo Kante's hamstring strain is likely to keep him out of this Saturday's game too. 

Sheffield United forward David McGoldrick missed their midweek game against Wolves but is expected to be fit to face Chelsea.
