After asking for your input in choosing Chelsea’s best-ever FA Cup goal, the votes have been counted and the results can be revealed.

We selected a 10-goal shortlist featuring some memorable strikes from over the years, ranging from Peter Houseman’s effort against Watford in our first triumphant campaign back in 1970 and Roberto Di Matteo’s famous thunderbolt 27 years later to modern-day classics from Olivier Giroud and Nemanja Matic.

The winner was announced on yesterday’s Matchday Live show on the 5th Stand app. However, if you missed it, here’s a look at your top 10 in reverse order...

So a top three of Gianfranco Zola, Frank Lampard and Matic won the most votes, with the Serbian’s cracking effort against Tottenham in the 2017 semi-final coming out on top.

A stunning strike with the added aesthetic of kissing the underside of the crossbar on the way in and, of course, the fact it came against Spurs must have helped.

Thanks to all those who got involved.
