We had nine shots in the game and three on target, all of which came in the opening 10 minutes, including Christian Pulisic’s opener.

The American’s goal with five minutes on the clock was our quickest in an FA Cup final since Roberto Di Matteo’s famous strike against Middlesbrough in 1997.

Pulisic had the most shots for the Blues with three, followed by Reece James with two. The other players to go for goal were Mason Mount, Jorginho, Ross Barkley and Pedro.

Three of our efforts came from inside the 18-yard box and the other six from outside the area. All were created from open play.

Meanwhile, Arsenal had 11 attempts but also three on target, scoring with two of them. Five of their efforts were from inside the box and four were from set-piece situations.

We had 59.7 per cent of possession, with Kurt Zouma having the most time on the ball (7.8 per cent). The Frenchman also had the game’s most touches with 85.

Of the Chelsea starters, Jorginho had the best pass completion rate with 92 per cent, followed by Mateo Kovacic and Mount (both 91 per cent). The team recorded a success rate of 85 per cent compared to Arsenal’s 78 per cent.

Pulisic’s game-high four successful dribbles proved a constant menace to the Gunners’ defence before his withdrawal with injury four minutes into the second half.

No player made more successful tackles than Andreas Christensen (four), who replaced the stricken skipper Cesar Azpilicueta just before half-time.

The Dane also won three aerial duels, as many as any other player on the field and the same number as Olivier Giroud, Marcos Alonso and James.
