Chelsea Women players Bethany England, Guro Reiten and Sophie Ingle have all been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors WSL Fans’ Player of the Year award.

England, who has already been crowned the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Year, has been outstanding for the Blues, having played a key role in helping us win the 2019/20 league title and clinch the Continental Tyres League Cup.

The England international led the line for the Blues and ended an impressive campaign as top goal scorer with 14 goals in the Women’s Super League and 21 goals in all competitions.

Reiten, who signed for Emma Hayes’ side last summer, is also up for the award after producing a host of stand-out performances during her debut season for the club. The Norwegian quickly settled into life at Chelsea and weighed in with five goals and eight assists in the league.

It’s to no surprise that Ingle is in contention for the award as the Welsh captain was an integral part of Hayes’ squad last term. The midfielder is known for protecting the back four and helping break up play, but she showed her superb technical ability when she produced a world-class moment during our 4-1 away win over Arsenal, executing a spectacular left-footed half-volley which flew past the Gunners keeper.

Voting is now open and will close on Monday 24 August at 8am.

The Blues begin our new season with a trip to Wembley Stadium where we will face Manchester City in the Women’s FA Community Shield. The match which takes place on Saturday 29 August kicks off at 12.30pm and will be live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. For more information click here.
