The hard work continued for Frank Lampard and his players at Cobham today, as the Blues trained ahead of Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham.
We make the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face our London rivals, managed of course by our former boss Jose Mourinho, with the game kicking-off at 7.45pm (UK time).
Chelsea defeated Barnsley 6-0 in the previous round, thanks in large to a Kai Havertz hat-trick, while Spurs received a bye past Leyton Orient to set up the fourth-round tie.
Frank Lampard confirmed at his pre-match press conference that both Ben Chilwell and recent addition Edouard Mendy are in his squad to face Spurs, but the game will come too soon for Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic.
