Drogba's on-field achievements with the Blues, alongside his extensive charitable work and role in inspiring a generation of African players to follow in footsteps, were recognised by UEFA at the Champions League group-stage draw in Switzerland.

He was presented with the award by UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin and joins the likes of Franz Beckenbauer, Eusebio and Johan Cruyff on the illustrious roll of honour.
