Chelsea Under-18s will play Manchester United in the semi-final of last season’s FA Youth Cup at St George’s Park later this month, with the game taking place behind closed doors.

The FA plan to conclude the remaining three fixtures of the competition, which was suspended last season due to the coronavirus pandemic, with games across four days starting at the end of the month. All ties will be screened live on BT Sport 1 from the national football centre.

It means Ed Brand's youngsters will have the opportunity to regain the trophy our Academy have held in seven of the past 10 seasons. Further information on player eligibility will be confirmed shortly. The full schedule is outlined below:

The announcement means our home Premier League 2 game against Leicester City, originally scheduled for Friday 30 October, will now be played on Friday 4 December at Kingsmeadow., 7pm kick-off. Meanwhile, a new date for our Under-18 Premier League fixture away to West Bromwich Albion, which was due to be played on Saturday 31 October, will be annouced in due course.
