Zac Djellab predicts plenty of goals

This weekend’s Play Predictor guest Zac Djellab is backing Timo Werner to get his first Premier League goal in a fast start on our way to a big win over Southampton.

This season Blues fans can compete with our guests and each other while testing their knowledge in our Play Predictor game on The 5th Stand app. The game is available to play for every Chelsea fixture, including cup matches, and there’s the chance to win incredible prizes throughout the season.

Zac from Matchday Live is the next guest to put his reputation on the line by making his predictions and he was clearly in an optimistic mood ahead of the Saints’ visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, foreseeing a repeat performance from our thrashing of Crystal Palace in the last match before the international break.

‘I’m going to say 4-0,’ said Zac. ‘I think against Crystal Palace we showed we have the ability to demolish teams and put four against them, and I think we’ll be doing that this weekend too.

‘I’m also going to say first goalscorer will be Timo Werner, his first Premier League goal, and I’m going to say it’s going to come in the fourth minute. A very quick start! Hopefully a comfortable start for us and just see the boys out and at it again.’

He will no doubt be hoping for a score of at least 24 points to match his Matchday Live colleague Joe Flemons in the guest leaderboard. You can see the rest of Zac’s predictions below…
