The latest Play Predictor guests, our Kerala Official Supporters’ Club from India, are backing Timo Werner to get us off to a winning start in the Champions League.

This season Blues fans can compete with our guests and each other while testing their knowledge in our new Play Predictor game on The 5th Stand app. The game is available to play for every Chelsea fixture, including domestic and European cup matches, and there’s the chance to win incredible prizes throughout the season.

Our guest pundits for the first Champions League fixture on Play Predictor are the Kerala Official Supporters’ Club, represented by Vinay KB. The Kerala club started as a small group in 2007, but their ranks have now swelled to more than 1,500 members and they have their banner proudly on display permanently inside Stamford Bridge.

Timo Werner got off the mark in the Premier League with a brace in our last match and Vinay is predicting the German’s first Champions League goal for Chelsea isn’t far behind.

‘It’s going to be a tough game, especially considering Sevilla has a recent good record on the European stage,’ said Vinay. ‘But I have high hopes on our young squad and hopefully they will find their stride at just the right time and bring that much-needed win. So I am going for a 3-1 win for Chelsea with Timo Werner to start the scoring.’

The bar was set high last week when Matchday Live's Zac Djellab overtook Marvin Humes at the top of our guest leaderboard, but can Vinay score enough points to beat them both? You can see the rest of his predictions below…

VINAY’S PREDICTIONS
