Our latest Play Predictor guest, former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson, says the Blues will come out on top in a tight match against Manchester United.

This season Blues fans can compete with our guests and each other while testing their knowledge in our Play Predictor game on The 5th Stand app. The game is available to play for every Chelsea fixture, including domestic and European cup matches, and there’s the chance to win incredible prizes throughout the season.

Our guest pundit for Saturday’s big match away against Manchester United is former Chelsea right-back Johnson. He spent four years playing at Stamford Bridge, helping us win our first Premier League title in 2005, as well as lifting the FA Cup and League Cup, with Portsmouth and Liverpool respectively, later in his career and earning 54 international caps for England.

He knows all about what it takes to win at Old Trafford, having been part of the Chelsea side which did just that in 2004/05, when the United players famously formed a guard of honour for Johnson and his team-mates to recognise their new status as champions, before we came back from a goal down to triumph 3-1 on the pitch.

The former defender thinks the current crop of Blues stars have what it takes too, predicting that Frank Lampard’s side will triumph 2-1 up in Manchester, with Kai Havertz finding the net in back-to-back Premier League games for the first time to open the scoring.
