‘The scariest thing I’ve seen on a football pitch?’ Billy Gilmour asks. ‘That has to be Toni Rudiger chasing me down when I have the ball!’

With Halloween right around the corner it felt only right that our next instalment of ‘90 seconds with’ adopted a spooky theme, with Billy Gilmour the latest Chelsea man in the hotseat.

The young Scottish midfielder, currently working his way back to full fitness following a serious knee injury, sat down for 90 seconds to discuss all things Halloween, with the episode available to watch now via The 5th Stand app and this website.

There were plenty of ghoulish questions put to Gilmour, who made it clear that he didn’t believe in ghosts, UFO’s or monsters – well, apart from the Loch Ness Monster that is!

‘Oh, I’ve seen the Loch Ness Monster a few times!’ Billy joked. ‘I’ve never spotted any UFO’s though.

‘I have seen a shooting star before, which was pretty cool. I suppose that isn’t really scary though!’

We also asked our young midfielder which three Chelsea team-mates he would pick if he had to stay in a haunted house for a night

‘I don’t like spiders and I know Ben Chilwell doesn’t either, so he can join me,’ added Billy.

‘I’d probably have someone tall, maybe Edou Mendy, as he can reach up and take away the spiders. Then I’d probably say Fik [Tomori], as he doesn’t really seem fazed by anything.’

Head to The 5th Stand app, or the video section of this website, to watch the full feature with Billy and find out what his favourite horror movie is, where he would go if he could travel back in time and what he used to dress up as for Halloween.
