Fans’ Forum reform

The Fans’ Forum provides an important platform for dialogue between elected supporter representatives and senior members of the club.

The format of the forum has remained largely unchanged since its inception in 2004, despite growing considerably in size. For 2020, the club will be implementing a series of reforms designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of the dialogue, and better represent the diversity of our fan base.

We will be increasing the Fans' Forum membership to include a BAME representative as well as a member to represent our female supporters. In addition, our LGBT member will come from the wider group of LGBT fans and not just from one supporter group.

A number of supporters’ groups will no longer attend the wider Fans’ Forum and will instead have the opportunity for regular structured dialogue with senior members of the club directly. We hope the reforms will bring greater focus to the Forum and a more personal nature to the individual discussions with those select supporter groups.
