Chelsea FC Women’s FA Continental Tyres League Cup quarter-final tie against Manchester City, which was due to take place next week, has been postponed following a number of their first-team squad testing positive for COVID-19.
In line with the decision made by the Football Association earlier this week to reschedule Manchester City’s upcoming Barclays FA Women’s Super League match against West Ham United due to COVID cases and other mitigating factors, the FA have now also made the decision to postpone this subsequent fixture.
A revised date for this match will be confirmed in due course.
