‘That full week was one of the maddest in my life. We played Liverpool in the FA Cup, I was named man of the match, we won the game and did well, then the same for the Everton match in the league. After that it was just mad. My social media was blowing up and it was good but, at the same time, I don’t know that I want to see all that – you don’t want to get ahead of yourself. My mum and dad were the first to keep me grounded and I’m a humble person.’

Elsewhere in the programme, head of youth development Neil Bath speaks exclusively about the season so far from an Academy perspective, and there’s also plenty of nostalgia for you. It’s our first meeting with Luton since the FA Cup semi-final of 1994, when Chelsea legend Kerry Dixon played against us for the Hatters. Jakob Kjeldbjerg was the man tasked with marking him, and we spoke to the Danish defender about that sunny afternoon at Wembley, and his memories of his time in west London.

For the last time Luton came to Stamford Bridge, you have to go back to 1991, and Vinnie Jones’ debut for Chelsea. We didn’t need any greater excuse to delve into the notorious Hollywood hardman’s time at the club, when he made a big impression in a short period of time.
