Chelsea FC Women’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League match against Bristol City at Twerton Park, which was due to take place this afternoon (Sunday), has been called off.
Following a pitch inspection this morning, Bristol City Women can confirm that the match cannot go ahead.
A heavy downpour of snow overnight in the South West has seen the Twerton Park playing surface deemed unplayable by the match officials and with further snow forecast in the area the decision has been made to postpone the game.
Details for the rearranged fixture date will be released in due course.
