Chelsea’s Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie against Barnsley has been chosen for live TV broadcast, with a date and kick-off time now confirmed.
The Blues travel to Oakwell to face the Championship side on Thursday 11 February with the game kicking-off at 8pm (UK time). It will be shown live on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
It will be a first taste of FA Cup action for new head coach Thomas Tuchel, with Chelsea having beaten Luton in the previous round in what was Frank Lampard’s final game in charge to set up this tie.
Barnsley defeated fellow Championship side Norwich in the previous round.
