Gus Poyet, one of the greatest South Americans ever to represent Chelsea, scored his first goal for us on a previous visit to Barnsley. Ahead of tomorrow's trip to Oakwell, see if you can remember who these other players from that continent got their first Blues goal against...

Uruguayan midfielder Poyet got 49 goals in total for Chelsea across his four seasons at Stamford Bridge, with the first coming on his second Premier League appearance, away at Barnsley in August 1997. He got our second goal of a 6-0 victory for Ruud Gullit's side at Oakwell, with Dan Petrescu also scoring as Gianluca Vialli netted no less than four times. Coincidentally, that was the same scoreline as our Carabao Cup win over the Tykes earlier this season.

Poyet's tally makes him the second-highest South American scorer in Chelsea's history, with plenty of other popular Blues stars on the list, including Thiago Silva becoming the latest to add his name this season, but can you remember who these 10 players opened their Blues account against? Good luck!
