February saw the Blues go undefeated in the FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League competitions. It wasn’t just the squad who celebrated their run, but also fans on our Play Predictor game on The 5th Stand app, who had been making their predictions throughout the month.

The new game month kicks off with a visit to Anfield to take on last season’s champions Liverpool, with all supporters starting on zero points and having a new opportunity to win big.

Fans will have another chance to see if they can secure the monthly prize in Play Predictor this month as the leaderboard resets, giving everyone the chance to win a £500 Megastore voucher and a signed merchandise bundle.

In February it was Mrinal from India who topped the table and won the monthly prize. Mrinal played along for every game during that month, scoring 298 points in total. No doubt the 65 points he scored for the Blues' 1-0 victory against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League helped him on his way to victory!

Mrinal said: 'I am so thankful to Chelsea FC for having this Play Predictor. I have been playing this game from the start and finally I win a prize. Predicting is never easy and to do that consistently over a period of time is even more difficult.

'The key to doing good for me is to follow the manager's press conference to get an idea and, of course, to look at the opponents and then trust your instincts and go for it.

'I have been a Chelsea fan for a very long time. I love the club and will always do so. Once a Blue, always a Blue!'

Timo Werner was the most popular first goalscorer choice in February, with 45 per cent of all fans selecting him in their predictions. He was followed by Mason Mount and Olivier Giroud, who were selected by 16 per cent and 12 per cent. All three delivered goals during the month but, perhaps surprisingly, only two per cent of fans chose to select Jorginho to score first, despite the midfielder netting from the spot twice in February, rewarding those fans with 50 points for their selection.

The Blues enjoyed the majority of possession in every match we played last month and fans were confident in the capability of the team, predicting an average possession of 64 per cent for the month - just one per cent off the actual figure! Will the run continue in March?
