The matchday programme for our Premier League fixture against Everton next Monday is available to order now.

We spoke exclusively to Toni Rudiger about the last few weeks, got his take on the high-pressing game that is coming to dominate European football and playing football during a pandemic.

‘This is not about how testing it is for me, in my head, because I’m lucky I can keep doing my job,’ he said. ‘I am privileged to be tested twice a week – there are people that have it much, much more difficult than I do. So, I think this is not testing or hard for us. I am privileged, I really am. I’m thankful because I can do my job, I can exercise and I can do what I love. For me, you just do what they tell you to do, and that’s it.

‘I just hope things will get better for all of us as quickly as possible, not just in football but in life in general. I just hope things get better soon, and we are not so much in danger anymore.’

As well as the usual columns from Thomas Tuchel, Cesar Azpilicueta, Emma Hayes, Andy Myers and Ed Brand, you can also hear from Tore Andre Flo, who relives one of the great Monday night matches in Chelsea history – our 4-3 win over Blackburn at Ewood Park back in the 1998/99 season.

Rick Glanvill continues his history of Stamford Bridge with a focus on the pitch in Brick by Brick, while The Vault picture special looks back at the changing face of Chelsea goal celebrations through the ages.
