The Chelsea Foundation are delighted to announce the return of our Soccer Schools this Easter.

Due to the global pandemic, last year’s Easter Soccer Schools were cancelled but the Foundation adapted to Government guidelines by delivering virtual Soccer Schools.

With restrictions now set to be eased, we will be delivering face-to-face Soccer School sessions throughout the traditional Easter Holidays.

Our Soccer Schools are a fantastic opportunity for children to learn new skills and make new friends in a fun, safe and challenging environment.

Catering for all ages and abilities, courses are specifically designed to ensure players from beginner to advanced are equally challenged based on their ability.

The Foundation has courses ranging from children looking to take part in their first footballing experience through to those looking to further develop their skills and knowledge of the game.

Our Soccer Schools range from one to five days and we offer full or half-day courses, consisting of fun-based activities, individual and team challenges finishing with matches and tournaments.

In addition to this, we also offer girls-only training, goalkeeper specific training and one-to-one sessions.

Steve Shipp, Chelsea Foundation senior officer, said: ‘We are excited to be able to welcome the players back to the pitches and offer them a chance to again showcase and develop their footballing abilities in our child-friendly and Covid-safe environments once again.’

Nick Brown, Chelsea Foundation Sussex manager, added: ‘We believe it’s incredibly important to offer a wide variety of sessions, especially so soon after football returning from its most recent postponement. It’s essential we get children back involved in sport for their physical, mental and social wellbeing.’

In addition to our Soccer Schools, the Foundation also delivers Player Development Programmes which provides a pathway from beginners to advanced and is the perfect programme for those looking to progress into Academy football.

We also host Team Training Days for grassroots clubs where all teams are able to have a Chelsea Foundation coach assigned to their team with the session being tailored to the manager’s needs.
