When is the Champions League draw?

The draw for this year’s quarter-final and semi-final takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday 19 March. It starts at 11am UK time.

How can I watch the draw?

UEFA will be streaming the draw live on their website, while in the UK it will be shown live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting at 11am.

Who could Chelsea play in the Champions League next round?

There are no seedings or country protection, so we could meet any of the seven other teams in the draw.

What about the semi-final draw?

After the quarter-final draw, a further draw will be made to determine the two semi-final pairings.

For administrative reasons, there is also a draw to determine the ‘home’ side in the final.

When do the Champions League quarter-finals take place?

The first legs will be on 6/7 April, with the return leg a week later on 13/14 April.

The semi-finals will be on 27/28 April and 4/5 May.

The final is in Istanbul on 29 May.
