George McEachran rescued a point for Andy Myers’ men when we faced West Ham last week Tuesday. We found ourselves behind shortly after the break as the hosts took the lead through Kai Corbett. It took us almost 20 minutes to respond but we eventually did from the penalty spot thanks to 20-year-old McEachran. The result leaves us in fourth place on 30 points, level with Liverpool and Derby respectively.
The opposition
Southampton travel to Kingston in 12th place with 16 points. Our second opponents of the season back in September, the Saints have struggled to pull results together this term. Their last win came against Derby County in February and was their fourth of the season. Jon Russell, Thierno Ballo and Myles Peart-Harris (2) helped the Blues put four past the Saints earlier in the campaign.
