Thomas Tuchel has made three changes to the team which beat Crystal Palace at the weekend for his starting line-up to face Porto tonight.

The front three which terrorised the Palace defence continue, meaning Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic are likely to flank Kai Havertz.

N'Golo Kante returns to the starting line up following injury, to partner Jorginho in midfield, as Mateo Kovacic is the surprise player missing tonight due to an injury of his own.

Reece James returns on the right in place of Callum Hudson-Odoi, while Ben Chilwell gets the nod again on the left.

At the back, Thiago Silva comes in for Kurt Zouma after being suspended for the trip to Selhurst Park, and joins Antonio Rudiger and captain Cesar Azpilicueta in the back three, ahead of Edouard Mendy.

‘We had a light injury unfortunately in training yesterday which was very sad so Kova is out,’ explained Tuchel. ‘The same with Andreas Christensen. We did not manage to make him fully fit after his muscle issues from the first leg.

‘These are our two concerns, but we have Thiago back in the squad. There are not too many changes because we are on a good run and the team feels confident.’

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao has made just one change to the team from the first leg in Seville, with this season's top scorer Sergio Oliveira returning from suspension in midfield, in place of Luis Diaz. Defender Malang Sarr, currently on loan from Chelsea, is on the bench.
