Mateo Kovacic is the only player unavailable, as injury prevents him from facing his former club, meaning Jorginho and N'Golo Kante continue as the midfield pairing in an unchanged line-up for Chelsea.

That means Cesar Azpilicueta looks set to continue captaining the side from wing-back, with Ben Chilwell on the other flank, and a front three of Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner.

At the back, the trio which kept a clean sheet at the London Stadium, Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen, along with goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, will attempt to shut out the opposition again in Madrid.

Real Madrid are without injured defenders Sergio Ramos and Ferland Mendy, but Toni Kroos returns in midfield, while former Blues winger Eden Hazard is among their substitutes after making his own comeback over the weekend. Fellow ex-Blue Thibaut Courtois starts in goal for Los Blancos.
