With the Premier League season reaching its exciting climax, EA SPORTS have named their Premier League FIFA 21 Team of the Season and it recognises the superb campaign in 2020/21 by our own Mason Mount.
The EA SPORTS Premier League Team of the Season is a chance to look back at the season’s highs, goals, stand-outs and breakthroughs. It has been a season like no other, with moments like no other. From brilliant saves, game-saving tackles and fire-hot strikes, the Premier League TOTS is a collection of this year’s very best players from all over the pitch!
Mount is included in the 15-strong selection and his credentials are clear. In the Premier League’s 20/21 ranking for chances created (which includes assists), his 77 is the second highest total of all the players, ranking below only Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
His work-rate off the ball and pressing skills are widely praised, and his versatility and ability to take attacks to the opposition is of great value to the team, as shown by the stats.If the number of unique shot-ending sequences that a player is involved in during open play is counted, Mount again comes in second among Premier League stars, with 182 such involvements, and he is in the top 10 for passes in the opposition half (1095) and total shots taken (71).

The Team of the Season reveal is one of the most eagerly anticipated moments of the season for FIFA players, with a team named for each major league delivering huge stats boosts and end-game content for players to build their teams around.A team of 15 has been named for 2020/21 and it will be available in game from 30 April at 6pm (UK time).To celebrate our player’s inclusion in the TOTS, we have a special giveaway competition with Chelsea shirts and TOTS shields signed by Mason himself as the prizes.
