Cesar Azpilicueta’s red card against Aston Villa has been overturned following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal.
Our skipper was sent off late on after a coming together with Jack Grealish, with referee Stuart Atwell deeming it violent conduct.
However, an independent Regulatory Commission have overturned the decision, so Azpilicueta will no longer face a three-match ban at the start of next season.
