Mason Mount has been nominated for a second Premier League individual honour, adding Hublot Premier League Young Player of the Season to the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Season announced earlier today.

The midfielder has enjoyed a fine campaign for Chelsea and been a key figure throughout as we secured a top-four finish in the Premier League, before lifting the Champions League trophy in Porto.

The 22-year-old made more league appearances than anyone else for the Blues in 2020/21, missing just two games, with only one younger player in the whole of the Premier League, Burnley’s Dwight McNeil, matching his tally of 36 games in the competition.

Having already been nominated for the overall Premier League Player of the Season award, it has now been revealed that he is also on the shortlist to be named Young Player of the Season.

The winner of both awards will be announced on Saturday 5 June and you have until 6pm on Thursday 3 June to cast your vote for Mason, which you can do for Young Player of the Season here and Player of the Season here.

Mount is one of eight players nominated for Young Player of the Season, along with Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Illan Meslier (Leeds United), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Declan Rice (West Ham United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ruben Dias and Phil Foden (both Manchester City).

The Chelsea midfielder already has one individual award to his name this season after being voted as the 2020/21 Chelsea Player of the Year by Blues supporters, receiving that award before our last home game at Stamford Bridge.
