You can vote for Mason Mount to be named EA Sports Premier League Player of the Season after he was named on the eight-man shortlist.

The Chelsea Academy graduate is the youngest person to be nominated for the English top-flight’s highest individual honour in 2020/21 after a fine campaign, which was only his second in the Premier League, and ended with him lifting the Champions League trophy.

The 22-year-old made more league appearances for Chelsea than any other player this season, missing just two games in that competition throughout the campaign, and was involved in 11 Premier League goals, scoring six and setting up another five for his team-mates.

The winner of the Premier League Player of the Season award is decided by a public poll and you can cast your vote here until 6pm on Thursday 3 June, with the winner then being announced two days later.

The other players nominated for the award are Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Tomas Soucek (West Ham United), Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias (both Manchester City).

Mount was a key player for the Blues throughout the season, being relied on heavily by both Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel, while showing his importance and versatility by producing consistently impressive performances in a number of different roles across the midfield or forward line, in a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3 system.

Those performances have already seen Mount overwhelmingly voted as the 2020/21 Chelsea Player of the Year by Blues supporters, receiving that award at Stamford Bridge before the Premier League win over Leicester City which played such a big part in us securing a top-four finish.

He has also been nominated for the Hublot Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
