The pre-season plans for our development squad and youth team have been confirmed, with preparations for the new campaign getting underway midway through next month.

Andy Myers's side, who finished as Premier League 2 runners-up last term,  will travel to Glasgow for their curtain-raiser on Tuesday 13 July to take on Celtic. It will be a 6pm kick-off in Scotland, with the Bhoys hosting at their Lennoxtown training facility.

The young Blues then head to the Midlands for a double-header against Derby County and Stoke City in three days. The first is a 1pm kick-off at the Rams' training ground on Wednesday 21 July, the second a midday start at Clayton Wood on Friday 23 July.

Our only home friendly of pre-season takes place at Cobham four days later as a Portsmouth XI travel up the A3 for a 6pm kick-off before we finish with a pair of away fixtures against the senior sides of non-league Woking (Saturday 31 July, 3pm) and Boreham Wood (Tuesday 3 August, 7pm).

The PL2 season begins on the weekend of 14/15 August.

Meanwhile, our Under-18s mirror the development squad with a visit to Celtic on Tuesday 13 July before further friendlies against Bournemouth (Saturday 24 July) and Fulham (Saturday 7 August), both at Cobham.

Ed Brand's boys will also take part in a mini-tournament at Manchester United's training complex featuring United, Tottenham and Wolves from 29-31 July.

The Under-18 Premier League begins on the same weekend as PL2, with our first outing likely on Saturday 14 August. Further fixture details for both will be confirmed in due course.
