The Scotland national team have this morning released a statement about Billy Gilmour and his participation at Euro 2020.

The statement reads:‘We can confirm that Billy Gilmour has tested positive for COVID-19.‘Having liaised with Public Health England, Billy will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss tomorrow’s UEFA EURO 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden.’

Gilmour made his first Scotland start, which was also his first competitive international action, in the 0-0 draw against England on Friday. He was named by UEFA the Star of the Match.
