The first top-flight meeting between Chelsea and Brentford since 1947 remains on Saturday 16 October, albeit at the later kick-off time of 5.30pm. That game across west London at the Brentford Community Stadium will be shown live on Sky Sports.

A week later, on Saturday 23 October, we host Norwich City at Stamford Bridge in the lunchtime 12.30pm slot. BT Sport will be the TV broadcaster.

Our other October league fixtures, at home to Southampton and away at Newcastle United, remain unchanged.

The Blues begin the 2021/22 Premier League campaign at the Bridge against Crystal Palace next weekend.
