There was a touching moment at Cobham yesterday captured by our cameras when Romelu Lukaku was explaining how much it meant to him to see Trevoh Chalobah, little brother of his good friend Nathaniel, score for the Blues.

Lukaku was watching our game against Crystal Palace on television and wasn’t the only one caught up when Chalobah capped a fine Premier League debut with a spectacular goal and some tear-jerking celebrations. Our new striker had extra reason to feel the moment, as he explained.

‘I got so emotional when his brother scored, man. It got to me. His older brother really embraced me when I came because we are one year apart.

‘He really took his time to show me around London and stuff. When his brother scored, pffff, it was too much.’

On seeing the video on Twitter, Trevoh expressed his gratitude to his new team-mate...
