Aggie Beever-Jones will spend the 2021/22 campaign on a season-long loan at Bristol City to gain first-team experience within the FA Women’s Championship.

Beever-Jones is one of a trio of young Blues who recently signed their first professional contract with the club over the summer, having come through the Chelsea Academy.

The 18-year-old striker has represented England at multiple youth levels from under-15 and made her senior debut for the club in a 4-0 away win at Aston Villa last season. She then went on to make her first start for Chelsea in a 5-0 victory over London City Lionesses in the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup in April.

General manager Paul Green said: ‘Aggie has featured regularly for the first team in pre-season and has done well. Now, heading to Bristol City for the upcoming season will provide her a great platform to continue to develop and gain valuable experience in a competitive environment in the Championship.

‘We wish Aggie all the best and look forward to closely watching her progress throughout the season.’
