Local residents and Chelsea fans of all ages were invited to join Chelsea legend Ashley Cole on Friday 13 August to launch Three’s new west London store. Excited fans were able to meet Cole while he perused the tech on offer in store, and get their shirts and merchandise signed. Joining Cole for a Q&A was former Blue Jason Cundy.

Supporters were thrilled to meet Cole, who is currently an Academy coach at Chelsea and was recently appointed as an assistant coach for England’s Under-21 team. Cole posed for photos with his fans, and took questions from the audience, discussing his Champions League win, the Academy’s players of the future, and, of course, the charismatic Thomas Tuchel.

As well as the grand opening activities, Three gave away tickets to Chelsea’s first outing of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace. The game, which was played the following day, ended 3-0 to the Blues, which was the icing on the cake for Three’s lucky ticket winners.

And the festivities continue, as fans can still take home a new Chelsea shirt with selected plans and devices from Three – exclusively at the King's Road store. Until Friday 27 August, Blues supporters can get their hands on the 2021/22 home or away shirt with selected Unlimited data SIM plans and phones. Devices include the market-leading iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S21, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
