There was a welcome sight at Cobham today, as N’Golo Kante returned to full training ahead of Sunday’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The French midfielder has shaken off the ankle injury that forced him to miss our recent home victories over Aston Villa and Zenit St Petersburg in the Premier League and Champions League respectively.

Thomas Tuchel confirmed at his pre-match press conference that Kante is ‘ready’ to be involved on Sunday and that he will travel to north London as part of the Chelsea squad.

The game comes too soon for Christian Pulisic but otherwise Tuchel has no fresh injury concerns. Romelu Lukaku looked sharp in training today and will hope to continue his rich vein of recent form, while our cameras also caught the likes of Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell testing the goalkeepers at Cobham this morning.
